Signals gets good

Soaring Lion's Head (see the glider in the top right?)

After several recent attempts that resulted in short flights, Ianni and I finally hit perfect conditions at Signals. Glassy smooth air, moderate windspeed and beautiful cloud formations made this a special flight. After launching at Signals, we were able to easily climb up Lion's Head and from there, fly right out over the sea and do big circuits along the coast to Greenpoint and back. We both landed just before sunset at the Lighthouse. Some pictures from the flight...

Approaching the LZ from the sea. The landing approach is towards the buildings from the top of the picure, then from R to L in front of the buildings, touching down just next to the pumphouse (orange building) in front of the lighthouse.
